Growing up-Preteen years

When you are born, you are an infant.

Till the age of 4, you are a toddler

Then you are a child.

When you turn 10, you become a preteen.

At the time of writing, I am 11 years old, in the centre of the preteen years. At this time, children go through physical and emotional changes. But let's look at emotional changes right now.

Children get confused between being a child and being an adult. Sometimes, we want to just 'fit in' a group, and try to do similar things to them.

We also want to experiment with new things. For example, I want to put a blue hair extension. I have never wanted to try makeup, but for a while, I used to experiment in some of that stuff. I sometimes want to pick my own clothes, choose what I want to wear, etc.

And I also go mad. Mental. I become a physco. I get angry at times and fell like throwing things.

I am like that nerd in those teen movies who has no friends. But in the end, she "lives her own life" and becomes a super popular girl and has millions of friends.

Just as a side thing, I was wondering, when do these girls in movies get time to study if they are cheerleading or moping at their social status or in the hospital? And their schools have proms. WOW. As a seventh-grader, our school even discontinued our annual slumber party!!

ok, coming back to the topic. Life is no movie. When you are a smart kid with hairy hands and buck teeth and no Instagram account and a very old phone that was made during the stone age people only use you. When you are a kid, you act super funny to get attention and everyone likes you. When everyone becomes mature you are immaculate (IDK if that is the right word here) and when you feel it is the right time to be YOU, girl, it's game over. But at the same time, I have fun with my classmates. I am not sidelined or all alone, either,

This time, we need our family the most, someone to say 'its ok' on our mistakes.
