Gender Equality

 I am a girl. I'm fortunate enough to belong to a family that treats all genders as equal. Now, gender discrimination is treating a particular gender unfairly. Women are, in many places, given unfair disadvantages. It is a type of gender discrimination. But even if men are given unfair disadvantages, it is gender discrimination.

Pseudo feminism

Feminism is the fight for women to be treated equally like any other person. Pseudo feminism is asking women to be treated and given more privileges. The difference is that the former asks everyone to be treated equally, while the other chooses inequality- just like how men are treated better than women (in some places). It is in my opinion that I feel that pseudo feminism is just another type of gender discrimination. We will be looking at a truly equal world when women don't hate men, and men don't hate women.

Gender discrimination- against men

Men cannot cry in public. They are expected to be strong. He cannot feel afraid. These are rules of the society. Correct? No. These are NOT the rules of a society. It is a mindset. A WRONG mindset. Real strength is expressing emotions. And doing it freely. When you do that, you are a human.

Gender discrimination- against women

A women cannot study. She does not need to work. A true lady keeps her mouth shut, does household chores, and spends her time trying to make herself looking beautiful. You may say that these unfair thoughts are outdated, and the society does not even discriminate to much. I agree! Thanks to countless numbers of women activists, we live in a free world today. I hope it continues.
