The rain and fire
The Rain and Fire
The fire bragged to the Rain,
said it could give sinners pain,
poor warmth,
when they don't need rain
But the rain couldn't admire,
the flaming red fire.
said the rain,
"I save innocent from the jaws of death,
with me around, they don't fret.
I quench thirst,
'an tears that burst.
and the rain couldn't admire,
the flaming red fire.
